Why SBP?
Four pillars that set our panels apart — and keep our clients coming back.
Every SBP panel is manufactured under strict ISO-certified quality controls, ensuring consistent thickness, color stability, and surface finish across every batch. Our materials are tested against UV exposure, thermal cycling, and impact stress before leaving the facility.
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our panels and ordering process.
Cast acrylic is produced by pouring liquid monomer into moulds, resulting in superior optical clarity, better chemical resistance, and greater thickness consistency — ideal for high-end signage and displays. Extruded acrylic is manufactured by pushing the material through a die, which is more cost-effective for standard sheet sizes but offers slightly lower surface hardness. SBP offers both grades to suit different project budgets and performance requirements.
For outdoor facades, we recommend our PMMA Acrylic Panels or Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP). PMMA offers outstanding UV resistance and colour stability over 20+ years, while ACP provides excellent rigidity and weather resistance with a very lightweight profile. The right choice depends on your design requirements, load specifications, and installation method — our technical team can advise you.
SBP panels are available in various fire performance classes including B-s1,d0 and B-s2,d0 under EN 13501-1 (Euroclass), as well as Class 1 surface spread of flame per BS 476. Fire-rated grades are available across our PMMA, Polycarbonate, and ACP ranges. Please request our fire performance datasheets for the specific product and application you have in mind.
Yes — SBP offers custom cut-to-size service for all panel types, with precision cutting available down to ±0.5 mm tolerance. Custom colours can be matched to RAL, Pantone, or NCS references for minimum order quantities. Bespoke surface finishes such as matte, gloss, textured, or anti-graffiti coatings are also available. Contact our sales team to discuss your requirements.
Minimum order quantities vary by product range and customisation level. Standard sheet sizes are available from a single unit for most products, while custom colours and special finishes typically require a minimum of 50 m². For large construction or OEM projects, we offer preferential pricing on full-pallet and container orders. Get in touch for a tailored quotation.
Polycarbonate (PC) panels offer the highest impact resistance in our range — up to 200× stronger than glass and significantly tougher than acrylic. They are the preferred choice for security glazing, machine guarding, skylights, and any application where safety or vandal resistance is a priority. Our PC panels are available in clear, tinted, UV-stabilised, and twin-wall configurations.
